Bronze medallist at the Sochi Winter Olympics in 2014, nine times medallist at the legendary X-Games—including five gold medal wins—holder of three crystal globes, and a world champion... at just 31, Kevin Rolland has dominated the half-pipe skiing discipline for over 10 years.
A French prodigy of twin-tip skis, he has continually pushed the boundaries of the sport, whether on the world competition circuit or in his creative videos that spread across the web like wildfire.
In the heart of a season full of exciting challenges for the World Championship silver medallist—who is back following an injury sustained on 30 April 2019 after a heavy fall while trying to set a new quarterpipe world record—IZIPIZI is extremely proud to welcome La Plagne’s golden child into the Happy Riders Pro Team.
Rolland joins a family of freeskiers with an impressive history of skills and medals. These include the young slopestyle specialist Lou Barin; the Canadian who’s as fast on the slopes as she is with her wit Sophie Lechasseur-Gavaggio; the all-rounder with boundless energy Franck Bernes; and the princes of Belleville Valley, freeriders Victor Galuchot and Kevin Guri, both as creative on the snow as they are in their video productions.
These outstanding riders are all much-loved ambassadors of the IZIPIZI sports range, which launched in 2017 and today includes three models: SUN NAUTIC (polarized lenses that are as suited to yachting as they are to the golf course), SUN GLACIER (glasses designed especially for snow sports) and SUN SNOW (the adult & junior ski mask).
