IZIPIZI X MoMA: A colorful collaboration

IZIPIZI still has a few tricks up its sleeve!

Founded in Paris in 2010 by 3 childhood friends, the French brand IZIPIZI’s mission is to bring a smile to the whole family, taking care of everyone’s eyes at all times in their life. Now IZIPIZI is made up of a team of more than 120 passionate people who create and distribute colourful, trendy and accessible glasses, with a strong commitment to reducing its impact on the planet. The brand is now found in over 80 countries and is sold in 5,000 points of sale, including prestigious places such as Le Bon Marché in Paris, Selfridges in London and Isetan in Japan.

As the saying goes, “third time’s the charm», and this is the 3rd time that IZIPIZI and MoMA have teamed up. This year, IZIPIZI x MoMA is offering you a new concept of colour, with 3 new models. A beautiful, colourful, arty and trendy collaboration that will make you happy.

A new concept of colour

The IZIPIZI x MoMA collaboration is an artistic concept that transcribes the vision of three re-nowned artists on the interpretation of the colours that they hold dear, and which are ready to dress up the SUN #C model - a must!

A true ode to colour in three shades:

Sunflower Yellow: A sunny yellow, inspired by Vincent Van Gogh’s Sunflowers. The famous Dutch painter, the pioneer of fauvism and expressionism said: How lovely yellow is! It stands for the sun

Unreal Blue: A dreamy and cloudy blue, inspired by the quote of Louise Bourgeois, a contemporary
artist close to the expressionist movement: Blue means you have left the drabness of day-to-day
reality

Windy Beige: An airy beige, like a sandy wind. This color is found everywhere in the works of Alma
Woodsey Thomas, an African-American expressionist painter: The wind has given me new colors
through the windowpanes

Where to find them

In 7 MoMA Design Stores: SoHo, Uptown, New Museum, Museum 2nd floor, Tokyo, Kyoto and Hong Kong.
