Who are you?

Where do you come from?

I’m Pauline Le Roux, I’m from the Auron ski resort, about an hour from Nice. I currently live in the Tarentaise, between Courchevel and Les Arcs. I’ve been skiing since I was very young. I had a pretty classic ski-resort upbringing, joining the ski club and then studying sports... Skiing was a huge part of my childhood and life growing up. I’ve always been into lots of different sports, there aren’t many I didn’t try out as a child. I’ve always been very curious. That’s helped me discover and explore new universes...

I spent ten years working seasons in Monaco in the high-end hospitality business, with winter in the mountains. Later, I went back to school to become an executive coach at HEC Paris. Nowadays I do that alongside my work as a ski teacher. I offer support for athletes looking to improve their performance, as well as corporate coaching.

In a few words, I would say I am someone genuine, passionate and happy.

What is your favorite sport ?

What do you like most about them?

Skiing and snowboarding. Running and wing-foiling in the summer.

Sharing is the most important thing for me in all of my sports.

I love the sensation of gliding, I have never gotten over it. Even after all these years...

Which IZIPIZI product do you wear most ?

The All Weather Snow mask is my must-have winter accessory.

I love how comfy it is, the great field of vision, and the design (a big one for me).

I use the Speed all year long. It’s comfortable and lightweight, and perfect for every situation.

What are your favorite ski spots ?

How do you like to spend your evenings ?

I’m always impressed by Les 3 Vallées, it’s hard to beat!

Courchevel is my favorite, it’s where I teach in the winter. And Auron, of course, I love going back to chill out with the family.

My ideal evening is having a drink somewhere warm, then going to the Courchevel Wellness Aquamotion space—it’s got a sauna, steam room, and jacuzzi—and helps me shake off the cold after a long day skiing.

Have you got any tips/places

to recommend?

In Courchevel:

For restaurants: La Cave des Creux, Le Petit Savoyard, and L’Oeil de Boeuf.

For a café: the Polar Café has a great location at the foot of the slopes.

To relax: Aquamotion
