We are here for you.
Our sunglasses for adults and children
We offer sunglass lenses with maximum UV protection, mounted on unisex frames with a timeless design and optimum comfort.
Our sunglass lenses comply with international standards for protective sunglasses (ISO 12312-1).
VISIBLE LIGHT TRANSMISSION
The visible light transmission (VLT index) quantifies the protective quality of sunglasses. The higher the index, the more light passes through the lenses.
Depending on the intensity of the light, which varies according to location, climate and relief, a different VLT index will be used.
To simplify things, there are 5 categories of protection, numbered 0 to 4, which allow less and less light through.
To help you understand, take a look at this table:
The majority of glasses in our SUN range have category 3 lenses, which absorb around two-thirds of visible light. To find out the protection category of a particular model, look at its product sheet.
And if most lenses in the SUN range are grey, this is because it is the tint that distorts natural colors the least.
100% UV FOR MAXIMUM PROTECTION
When light is too strong, our pupils cannot filter it enough to protect our eyes from ultraviolet (UV) rays, which are extremely harmful. Our sunglasses provide 100% UV protection, letting no UV rays through.
This protection is essential even on cloudy days: just because you can't see UV rays doesn't mean they don't exist. So be careful.
MODELS FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY
Our SUN lenses are also available with correction for longsighted people (+1 to +3 diopters), in the JUNIOR range for children between 5 and 10, and for very small children with our BABY, KIDS and KIDS+ models.
