Ten years ago, we set out to bring a "smile" to the millions of people with presbyopia. A long and exciting journey that has led us today to become a major player in eyewear for the whole family and all the moments of life.
2010 - SEE UP: Sight at your fingertips
We are launching SEE UP, a self-service design face-to-face to improve visibility in certain establishments open to the public (banks, insurance companies, hotels, etc.).
In 2012, SEE UP becomes SEE CONCEPT and invites itself at home with SEE HOME and SEE MAGNET to help our presbyopic customers on all lines!
2013 - READING: Presbyopia Forever
Experience shows a growing interest in the development of a ready-to-wear "magnifying glass" eyewear inspired by fashion codes: LET ME SEE our first range of reading glasses with timeless shapes, sublimated in an iconic packaging, all at a super attractive price (later renamed READING). A good idea propelled to the eyes of all at Colette!
2014 - SUN: See, smile & sun
Our desire to improve our customers' eyesight is becoming more and more widespread: we want to accompany them on a daily basis, both at home and outside! We are therefore developing our first sunglasses, called SUN, for our faithful presbyopes and those to come, thanks to our neutral correction model (+0 diopter).
This new range follows the same logic of universality, accessibility and ultra creativity, so that we are now also entering the world of design. A beautiful lighting design that will be presented with a preview at Merci à Paris!
2015 - SCREEN: Work attitude
With the massive arrival of screens in our lives, many dangers have appeared for our eyes.
We then very quickly launched research to overcome these "blue lights" emitted by our telephones, computers and televisions while keeping our stylistic promise and price. Our SCREEN range was born and quickly became a new trend in the home and at work!
2016 - JUNIOR: Like daddy, like mommy
Being in the daily life of our customers also means being there from the earliest age when sight is very sensitive.
Our ranges of sunglasses and screens are adapted to finally illuminate the faces of the youngest (JUNIOR) and regain a beautiful family atmosphere!
2017 - SEE CONCEPT is becoming IZIPIZI
SEE CONCEPT becomes IZIPIZI to gain proximity and complicity with our communities around the world and faithfully convey our 4 key values: Happy, Easy, Open and Wahou.
A state of mind and a culture that is even more strongly instilled in our teams, our ambassadors, our products and now also in our points of sale that are being created in Paris and then abroad!
2017 - SUN GLACIER & NAUTIC: First of string
Sport being an integral part of our lives, we wanted to explore the codes and techniques of new universes, both in the mountains with our GLACIER range and at sea with NAUTIC.
Always with this unique approach to style, we offer our loyal customers new shapes, new functionalities (polarized lenses in particular) and therefore new possibilities! These models also seduced amateurs and professionals of strong sensations, which led us to set up a team of Pro Riders to carry our smile to altitude!
2017 - BABY&KIDS: Born to smile
Following the success of the JUNIOR range, it is now the turn of the toddlers to adopt the IZIPIZI style from their first days thanks to the new BABY & KIDS ranges, specially developed to suit the hazards linked to their movements ;-)
2018 - SUN SNOW: Cool altitude
A new challenge has been added on the sports field: to go beyond the glasses and try out the ski goggles with our SNOW range.
Here again, our expertise in optics allows us to perfectly translate the IZIPIZI philosophy into sports practice: style, technique and a fair price. A great success for the whole family which still pushes us to explore other disciplines!
2019 - STUDIO: Out of the box
Creativity no longer has any limits with us: the desire to experiment with completely different and innovative models in terms of shapes, colours, materials, use, packaging... is omnipresent!
We are therefore embarking on the creation of a capsule collection that is totally uncorrelated to our seasonal rhythm and expectations in order to surprise our customers. This first attempt with the Admiral is transformed, and we are now giving ourselves all the means to renew this unexpected event!
2020 & TOMORROW - See more
At IZIPIZI, we are all deeply optimistic. Since our beginnings we believe in continuous improvement and our ability to influence and gradually change the eyewear market.
This is why every morning we challenge our habits and our operations, on every floor, to make tomorrow even better. This is our only way to remain on this mission that drives us: to make you smile.
