Screen & sleeping glasses
What are SCREEN glasses and how do they work?
SCREEN glasses are designed to be worn when using digital devices such as computers, tablets, or smartphones.
Their lenses feature a specific coating that filters 40% of violet-blue light, while allowing turquoise-blue light to pass through.
They help improve visual comfort during screen use, especially during long periods in front of digital devices.
What are SLEEPING glasses and how do they work?
SLEEPING glasses are designed to be worn in the evening to help reduce exposure to blue light before bedtime.
Their lenses filter out blue light, particularly blue-turquoise light, which can interfere with the body’s natural sleep cycle. By reducing exposure to this type of light, SLEEPING glasses help support the body’s natural sleep preparation.
In a study conducted with OpinionWay on 300 people with mild to regular sleep difficulties, users reported positive effects after 5 days of use.
On average, the time taken to fall asleep was reduced from 1 hour to 30 minutes, and 3 out of 5 participants said the glasses improved both their sleep quality and the time it took them to fall asleep.
Reading glasses
What are IZIPIZI reading glasses designed for?
READING glasses are ready-to-wear glasses designed for presbyopia, a natural age-related change in vision that usually begins around the age of 40.
They are designed for near vision and can help you see more clearly when reading or looking at objects up close.
Please note that reading glasses are intended for close-up vision only and should be removed to see clearly at a distance.
What strengths are available?
Our reading glasses are available in the following strengths: +1.0, +1.5, +2.0, +2.5, and +3.0.
The same correction is applied to both lenses.
We do not offer strengths above +3.0. Higher corrections generally require more specific optical support.
To help you estimate the strength you may need, you can use our reading test.
Can I use IZIPIZI reading glasses for prescription needs?
IZIPIZI is not an optician and does not offer custom-made prescription lenses.
Our ready-to-wear reading glasses are designed for presbyopia only. They do not correct other vision conditions such as hyperopia, astigmatism, or myopia.
How do I choose the right strength?
It is important to choose a strength that feels comfortable and suitable for your needs, and to avoid selecting a correction that is stronger than necessary.
For example, if you need +1.75 and this strength is not available, we recommend choosing +1.5 rather than +2.0.
To help you estimate the strength you may need, you can use our reading test.
Please note that this test is provided as a guide only and does not replace an eye exam carried out by a qualified professional.
Materials & product care
What materials are IZIPIZI glasses made from?
Most IZIPIZI glasses are made from polycarbonate, a lightweight, flexible, and impact-resistant material commonly used in eyewear.
Some limited editions or specific collections may be made from acetate, depending on the model.
The material used for each pair may vary by range or collection. For more details, please refer to the product page.
What materials are used for Baby & Kids glasses?
For our Baby& Kidsrange, we use TPE-E, a flexible and resistant material designed to better withstand twisting and everyday handling by young children.
This material helps provide comfort, durability, and safety. It is also hypoallergenic and BPA-free, making it suitable for sensitive skin.
What are bio-sourced frames?
Some IZIPIZI models are made from G850, a bio-sourced material partly derived from castor oil.
These frames are designed to reduce reliance on fossil-based materials while maintaining the same standards of comfort, quality, and durability.
How should I care for my glasses?
To keep your glasses in good condition, store them in their case when not in use and clean the lenses regularly with a soft microfiber cloth.
Avoid using abrasive materials or household cleaning products, as they may damage the lenses or frame.
